describe surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy along with their side-effects and results. They tell you most
everything you need to know to help make correct choices today for a larynx cancer problem. However, these

cancers, the site linked here is specific for larynx cancer and other head and neck cancers. The information
in PDQ is reviewed each month by cancer experts. It is updated when there is new information. The patient
information in PDQ also tells about warning signs and how the cancer is found. PDQ also lists information
about research on new treatments (clinical trials), doctors who treat cancer, and hospitals with cancer
programs.

The Yul Brynner Head and Neck Foundation
Founded by Yul Brynner and Dr. George Sisson in 1983 to further the education, research, treatment and support
for head and neck cancer, the Foundation attempts to spread the word about head and neck cancer and the
difficulties incurred by those stricken with the disease - and how these can be overcome until prevention and
cure become realities. They sponsor an International Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week each year.
