Continuing education program for Speech-Language Pathologists

Stanford University Voice and Swallowing Center, in collaboration with the Foundation for Voice Restoration, is sponsoring a continuing education program for Speech-Language Pathologists on April 25-26, 2008 at the Department of Otolaryngology in Stanford (Palo Alto), CA. Now would be a great time to encourage your Speech-Language Pathologist to attend. The program will feature Dr. Eric Blom, Indiana University, Dr. Dale Rice, MD USC, and Dr. Mark Singer MD CPMC and speech pathologists Carla Gress, ScD and Jeff Searl, PhD KU. An impressive group of SLP's will also be lecturing and assisting with the hands-on clinical aspects of the program, including Patricia Woo Cavanaugh, and Minnie Graham, PhD. Laryngectomees and their spouses are invited to participate free of charge, as an added incentive for attending. ATOS Medical and InHealth Technologies will also provide support for this program.

For further information, including registration forms, please download the conference brochure or you may contact the conference co-coordinator, Ann Kearney, MA, CCC-SLP, at 650/736-0469 or by email at akearney@ohns.stanford.edu
